A few weeks back when I was out gigging near Chesterfield there was a family in at the micropub I was singing at, they stayed all night and the young lad Henry Ravey-Salt who is only 13 years old was taking some pictures of me singing,

I shouted into his camera while I was singing and thought nothing more of it,

A few days later his mum and dad sent me some wonderful photos of the night, the lads got a real talent there, so after asking his dad if its ok I've decided to use the image of me screaming into the camera for the new Rum Lad album,

The new release date is Friday Sept 25th and everyone who pre-ordered will get theirs way before then.

I'll be updating the website with news asap.

Looking forward to bringing this album to everyone and work for the video to Cherry Vanilla has begun

Thanks Henry, the picture is hugely appreciated

Peace to all, Rum Lad

As of today Rum Lad will be waving two fingers to the big digital corporations & Online providers to concentrate on releasing ALL music & merch via this website only.

All albums will be available digitally from here including the brand new release 'Cocknocker' and all physical Items including CD's & Shirts etc will be available here too.

From this point on a tip jar option will be available for those that want to get hold of anything Rum Lad...How It works is everything will be available for free as long as you pay the postage, on that score I leave it at your discretion....If you can afford to pay more to cover those that can't then do it....Alternatively if you are on a low income or are struggling and you want to get your hands on some Rum Lad merch then feel free as long as the postage is paid.

Its all up to you.

Seeing how the Industry has changed and not being an artist that wants to bow down to corporate demands and unfairness when it comes to the minimal share of the pie you receive from these companies, It has prompted me to take this route.

One I think is in the very true nature of punk rock and all it stands for.

Peace - Rum Lad
